This is my mothers Povitica
My cousin sent us an english walnut Povitica she said it was very close to the one my mother use to make for the holidays....close isn't the word it was great....nothing has come this close

My mum is from Slovenia and every Christmas she makes potica. Stawberry Hill's povitica is just as good as mum's homemade.

Povitica heaven
What a treat to find your company last year. When I was a little girl my mother and two grandmother one French and one Slavanian would roll the dough out the width of the kitchen table. I still remember the smells and wonderful taste. My mom can't do it any more to much work, so I sent her some for Mother's day she said it was the best gift I could have ever gotten her.

Old Favorites
I used to watch my Croatian grandmother make Povitica on her kitchen table in Escanaba, Michigan. The recipe was never passed on; she never used one. The family has missed having Povitica, especially during the holidays. Your Povitica is the closest thing to Grandma's. The family loved it!

My favorite so far!
Just wanted to write and say how much we LOVE your bread! I am very lucky to
have a father who sent us some bread as a gift and he now sends it for all
occasions. We love it so much and always look forward to having a special treat.
We have recommended it to ALL of our friends especially the Strawberry Cream
Cheese.....YUM! Thanks for making such a scrumptious treat that always brightens
